My $0.02 Worth of Thoughts

This blog was created so that I can look back and remember the quirky things that happen in life. It's just a more sophisticated journal/scrapbook. The downside is my family and friends know what's happening in my life before my hubby does! :) Just kidding.

Updates

I actually failed the first drug screening test and had to re-take it. Well, I don't know if 'fail' is the right word here. It came back inconclusive, whatever that means. So had to rush back to the lab to get another test done. Thank goodness it is just a urine test and not a blood test. I can swoon like the best western heroines in movies when it comes to blood tests. Good thing I passed it this time, otherwise I was gonna consider sueing Starbucks to see what they are putting in the coffee as that is the only thing I take regularly without fail. :) And yes, for all those who know how much I dislike Starbucks coffee, all I have to say is that I ain't got no choice if that's what's a'brewing in the office pantry every morning. Hey, could be worse I guess. Not one to compain about free coffee.
I start my new job tomorrow. I will let you know what coffee they provide. For some reason, I am not as nervous as I was two weeks ago when I started the temp assignment. Maybe because I now have had practice and is not as rusty as on that first day. Like Celine Dion sings, "It's all coming back to me now" :)

On Cael updates, he is doing very well at daycare. I don't know if the same can be said about the daycare provider. Cael is a very energetic boy. :) I am very happy that he is in a home daycare and not an institution. I don't think I would have been ready to leave him if that was my only alternative.
He is constantly amazing us. Very hard to describe the antics that he comes up with. It is a 'you have to be there' kinda thing. Like what he does whenever he says goodnight to his dad. He sits on my lap and looks at his dad and without fail, every single night, he folds his arms and looks at dad as if to say, 'Peace out, homie.'
More later....
